About Blue Bottle Coffee

Blue Bottle Coffee is a coffee shop in Brooklyn, New York. It is listed at 76 N 4th St Store A, Brooklyn, NY 11249, which places it among the local businesses of Brooklyn that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

In Brooklyn, coffee shops cluster around downtown offices, college campuses and the main commercial streets of residential neighborhoods, and the independents usually close by mid-afternoon while chains stay open into the evening. Across New York, drive-thru coffee stands and kiosks fill the gap in suburbs and along highways, and roasters often sell bags and brewing gear at the counter. Check the listing for hours, whether the cafe takes mobile orders, and its Google rating and recent reviews; parking is easiest at suburban locations, while downtown shops rely on street meters or nearby garages. Loyalty programs are common and worth joining if you are a regular.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6:30 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (510) 661-3510. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is bluebottlecoffee.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 894 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The miso caramel latte with almond milk was genuinely good, and the staff at this location were exceptionally kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, I was pretty shocked when the 12 oz drink came to $10.07. I understand that specialty ingredients and alternative milk come at a premium, but at $10 for a relatively small latte, the price-to-value ratio just doesn’t work for me. The drink was good, but not $10-good, and the cost makes it difficult for me to justify coming back regularly when there are plenty of other options. I want to emphasize that this isn’t a criticism of the staff at all — they couldn’t have been nicer. My issue is strictly with the pricing and whether the product offers enough value at that price point. I really wanted to like it enough to justify the splurge, but unfortunately I left feeling that I’d rather spend my coffee money elsewhere.

This place was fancy. I was cold and walking around stopped in got a coffee. It was a black coffee.I use no cream or sugar. It was close to 6 bucks. My friend got a croissant and a coffee as was close too Getting only change back from a twenty. My coffee was good and it warmed me on the inside. So that's all I care about.

I’ve been here many times, and I have to say that their coffee and food get better every visit! I highly recommend getting their hot cappuccino in a dine in mug since it’s prepped better (latte art is pretty good) than with a takeout cup. The servers are also very friendly and even offered me a free Ham & Cheese Baguette near closing time (thank you for the treat and for not wasting food)! Their Saffron Vanilla Latte is also pretty good. The sweetness level is just the right amount. Overall, it’s my go to place whenever I head over to my office!

I often stop by this coffee shop when I’m walking around Williamsburg and need a little break. The location is excellent, and the space is very clean and spacious. Until recently, they only offered one size (12oz), but this year they’ve added a 16oz option, which I really appreciate, the 12oz always felt a bit too small for me. I usually go for an iced latte or a regular latte. While the selection of pastries is somewhat limited, they also sell coffee beans and cups, which make great souvenirs. The coffee itself is smooth and easy to drink and I think it would appeal to a wide range of people. A great spot for a quick rest during a walk around the neighborhood.

As always, Blue Bottle Coffee did not disappoint. My oat flat white was perfectly crafted and at the right temp too. This site had a very open plan with lots of beautiful natural light in the morning. Plenty of seating space as well as standing for when it's busy. To make my visit even better they even gave my dog Dobby a dog biscuit! Which he loved and he doesn't like most treats so 5 stars all round.
